CURRENT VISITATION PROTOCOL updated 4/18/22

SKILLED NURSING:  Violet Hallway and Daisy Hallway

  1. We do not have specific visiting hours and you may visit your loved ones at any time, however, please be mindful about mealtimes, which are 7:30am, 11:30am and 5:30pm. Due to the mask requirement for both residents and visitors, neither the resident nor the guest is able to eat or drink during a visit. Visitors are also not able to go with residents to the dining room or activities. We are now able to allow regular visitation even if residents or a hallway are in quarantine. If that is the case, each resident door will have a sign on it with the PPE that is required to be used in that room and each visitor is required to wear that in order to visit.
  2. ENTERING/EXITING: The doors by the guest relations desk are automatic and they are locked when the Guest Relations desk is not staffed. Please be aware that if you stay after the desk is closed, you will need to alert nursing staff on the floor that you are leaving and you will need to wait for them to be able to come to the front doors to let you out. Guest relations is open from 8:00am-8:00pm M-F and 10:00am-5:00pm Weekends/Holidays.
  3. Hand hygiene (use of alcohol-based hand rub is preferred) is REQUIRED before entering the building and is located in the vestibule for your convenience.
  4. All visitors are required to wear a surgical facemask AT ALL TIMES in our building. Surgical facemasks are also available in the vestibule and we ask that if you are already wearing one, that you please change into one that we provide you to wear(covering mouth and nose). NO EATING OR DRINKING is allowed in rooms during visit due to mask requirement so we ask that you leave your own drinks in your vehicle and any food or drink you bring for your loved one at the nurses station and they will get it to them after your visit is over. This makes it much less confusing for residents.
  5. Proceed through the automatic doors to the guest relations desk where there is a screening device that will take your picture, your temperature and screen you for entry into our facility. The first time you use the device you will need to enter your name and telephone number. Each time you visit, you will need to answer any questions you are asked to proceed with the screening. If you pass the screening a name tag will automatically be printed that you will need to wear while you are in the building.
  6. Social distancing is still required and so if you are part of a group of more than 4 people please call ahead and we will be happy to help make arrangements so that the visit can occur safely and within our regulations
  7. We no longer have an age requirement for visitors, however, each visitor must be able to keep their mask on for the entirety of the visit. If not able to do so, due to age or disability, please contact the Guest Relations staff prior to the visit so that we may be able to make accommodations to allow the visit to occur.
  8. Out of facility visits need to be arranged through the Guest Relations staff. They will take information from you regarding the visit details and then write up the visitation form that we use. Please call at least a full day ahead of time as the requests will be reviewed each morning at our 9:00am meeting, to assess for risk.
